Mission
The mission statement of the organization is “ To work for socio-economic & political empowerment of the poorest by organizing educating and enabling them to manage local natural resources.”
Vision
The organization is committed for up upliftment of deprived rural community and has been working in this direction through natural resource conservation, health hygiene, agriculture development and education.
Details of Governing Body
Shri Gajanan Maharaj Krishi and Shaikshanik Sanstha, is governed by the executive body consisting of 7 members out of these 4 members area male and 3 female. The organization is presently staffed by 51 skilled field level workers.
The organization came in to existence due to efforts of the President Sheri Devanand K. Kayande . He was honored by Government of Maharashtra with “ SHETINISHTA PURSKAR”, It was his urge to develop surroundings where one lives, resulted in the formation of Shri Gajanan Maharaj Shaikshanik Sanstha.

Watershed Development Work (Under IGWDP) Watershed Development Work (Under NHWDP) | Indo-German watershed development programme and NABARD Supported Holistic Watershed Development Programme has been funded by NABARD for various soil and water conservation activities. The programme has two phase the Ist Phase including with capacity building and some water and soil conservation activities. In this phase the formation of Village Water Shed Committee, formation of Shelf Helf Group , formation of Sayankuta Mahila Samittee are the key parts. In the IInd phase of the programme the project will support and complete by them. | 10 | Community Care Centre | This programme is funded by Karnataka Health Promotation Trust(KHPT) the area of operation of this programme is in Jalna district of Marathawada from Maharashtra. The main object of this programme is to motivation of the AIDS patient through using some IEC tools and also including medical treatments by expert doctors. This facilities is including with lodging and boarding. | 11 | Support to Training and Employment Programme i.e. Development of Dairy Units Steps Project | Recently the NGO has selected for this programme. The beneficiaries of this project are poor and asset less women form SC,ST,NT and OBC category.
